EMI Workshop Announcement
Workshop Description
Teaching in English-medium contexts brings a particular challenge that doesn't always get named directly. It's not just about language; it's about the difficulty of knowing what's actually happening in the students' minds when the usual classroom signals become harder to read. Silence, nodding, the absence of questions—these mean something different in EMI settings, and navigating that uncertainty takes a real cognitive toll on teachers.
In this workshop, we will look at that honestly and reflect together on what it might mean for how we read our classrooms.
