The National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) TEEMI Platform, along with the EMI Screening Test, are now open for registration. Participation is entirely free! Faculty and students are encouraged to join.

◎◎ Introduction to the TEEMI Platform:

● The TEEMI Platform is designed to assess English speaking and writing skills in the context of complete English courses and subject matter content. It helps students evaluate their performance on various speaking and writing tasks. Students can better understand their strengths and weaknesses in different tasks through diverse question formats. At the same time, real-time feedback and response records allow them to practice repeatedly and improve their English skills. Website: https://teemi.tw/

● Assessment levels are divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced (equivalent to CEFR levels A2 to B2).

● Speaking and writing assessments are graded using a combination of human evaluation and AI.

◎◎ Introduction to the EMI Screening Test:

● Based on natural language processing technology for speaking and writing, this platform offers assessments, grading, and feedback for spoken and written tests. After taking the test on a computer, the system analyzes the test-taker's speaking and writing performance according to assessment criteria. Website: https://teemi.tw/emiscreening/

● The speaking and writing assessments use an "instant grading" system, providing immediate test results.

● Assessment levels are divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced (equivalent to CEFR levels A2 to B2).

◎◎ Registration:

1. Teacher Group Registration: Teachers should fill out the student information file: [Click here], and send it to Assistant Ni at the Language Center (rayni@gm.ntpu.edu.tw) before the deadline. Teachers will receive assistance in setting up management accounts and student login credentials. Please provide your contact email, phone number, and an outline of your use of the TEEMI platform.
   The maximum number of students per class is 100.
   A teacher can register multiple courses, and students must use a "ntpu.edu.tw" education mailbox.
   Each student can only participate in one class. If there are duplicates, priority will be given based on the order of registration.

2. Individual Student Registration: Students can fill out the online registration form, and the Language Center will assist with setting up login accounts.

   The email address must end with "ntpu.edu.tw" (education version mailbox).
